Here are the pics from Jedi Training Camp at Disneyland. It was so much fun!! Grandma even bought him the official Jedi Training t-shirt so with that and his certificate in hand it is official we are living with a true Jedi!!!

We were talking last night and we are already ready to go back. Disneyland is for sure the happiest place on earth!

Disneyland 2011

Disneyland was amazing! I could have stayed forever and loved every minute. We stayed for 5 days this time, the right amount in my opinion. We met family there and the kids had a ball playing with their cousins and it also made it possible for Rob and I to have several "mini dates", yes that's what we called them as we strolled off hand in hand. CHEESE. :) Chase enjoyed his first trip to Disneyland, he loved to watch the people and his favorite ride had to be Pirates or maybe Small World. He was an angel from sun up to sun down, really a good kid considering he is only 10 months old. Logan was an absolute delight to watch. He wanted to go on every ride and wasn't scared of anything except the Tower of Terror. He went on it, mostly to impress his cousins I think, afterwards he said, 'Mom, that was a little scary! I won't go on that ever again even if there is apple juice (his most fav). It was so adorable. He love the Buzz ride and Big Thunder Mountain. I couldn't believe he went on Space Mountain but he did and was so brave, love that kid!!! Logan also got to do Jedi Training Academy where he battled Darth Vadar it was priceless and worth every penny!! Grandma got him an official Jedi Training shirt only for true Jedi's of course. ;) The wonder of color show in the evening was unbelievable and one of the most amazing things Rob and I have ever seen....I tell you Disney is MAGIC, they know how to do it right! Now that we are back we are wondering when we will go again, my vote is next week. Hehheeee

Fire 101

Logan and Chase visited their Uncle Jay at the Smithfield Fire Station and had the VIP treatment! They had so much fun checking out the different firetrucks and ambulances. He even got to toot the horn, he sure thought he was the cat's meow! Logan has been wearing his fire hat ever since our visit and will be taking it to show and tell at Preschool!! Thanks so much Uncle Jay for a great time!!

Rough go....

Today we attempted family pics. I can honestly say it was not our best attempt. As you can see we didn't get a family pic and were lucky to get what we did get. Logan was a little grouchy (mom was too) and Chase kept spitting up all over his clothes. Geez people can someone just throw me a friggin' bone?! We still got some descent pics but nothing grand. We will have to try again to get the family pic, I guess it would help if Rob wasn't taking the picture and trying to be in the picture all at the same time. All in all I think we have some pretty cute little dudes! They are so much fun and I adore them.

Clippin the coupons....

So I used coupons for the first time today. It was totally cool to see the bill and then start watching all of the savings come off. I saved $75 and it was such a rush!! I don't think I have ever seen my grocery cart so full of food. I was so excited with my savings I literally had a little skip in my step while heading out to the car. When I got home I told Rob we can't put any of it away until we take it out of bags and look at it all!!! Seriously it was so much fun!! I got 3 free toothbrushes. I bought 3 deodorants on sale and with a coupon got 3 bottles of Olay body wash completely free!!! Olay body wash is $5.50 a bottle, I know I am awesome! :) Who knew you could actually save money and have it be so much fun. Hopefully I will get better at it, I told the check out lady that I was new to coupon'ing as if she needed me to tell her. It totally showed, I would hand her a printed out coupon with one coupon on the entire sheet. I said, I will trim those down next time. As I left she said, not bad for a newbie. I agree it felt pretty good to save so much money and have a trunk full food and goodies!! I will for sure be clippin the coupons again next week! :)

I love our little family

I love our little family!! Every morning Logan comes into my bedroom and jumps into bed with me and says, 'I love you mommy'. Melts my heart. Both he and Chase are such sweeties. Recently my mom bought new Cars legos it is pretty cool, has Mack, Lightening, etc. My mom told Logan he could borrow it for a while but that it was a toy that was going to stay at Grandma's house so he could have something to play when he goes. Logan says, 'here's the deal grandma, you can have my Thomas the tank legos and I will have your cars legos' . Yah, that sounds good he says. Totally bargaining, what a kid!!!

Rob and I had the kids in bed and we were watching tv last night. There was a mother in the show and she was appologizing to her daughter and giving her a hug and I just started tearing up. I told Rob, 'the older I get the softer I become'. I know what you are thinking, not soft that way...ok maybe that way too. :) Seriously, I could cry at the simplest thing. I think it is life experience that does it to you. Once you have kids and you go through losing loved ones you start to realize just how fragile life is. What a clich'e I know but it is true. So my thought today is just how much I love my little family. I have a wonderful husband who I adore and funny and adorable children. I am SO blessed!

Halloween Parade

Preschool Parade

Logan had so much fun at the preschool parade!! He dressed up as Thomas the tank engine this year and was completely adorable!!!You'll notice that he is ahead of the pack and neither feet are touching the ground!

Chase dressed up as a zebra, he was adorable. They went trick or treating at my work this year, then in the neighborhood...they had so much fun!! I just love these little guys!!!

Opposing Team Distractions

Name - Logan Robert Wright
Skill - Opposing Team Distractions

Logan had just finished up a rather exciting season of Soccer. He was such a delight to watch. Every time he even kicked the ball he would give thumbs up to us and make sure to tell his coach that he kicked it. I am sure she was like....uhm, I know now keep playing :) It was a lot of fun. I think one of his key strategies, since he wasn't necessarily rocking the scoreboard, was opposing team distractions. Check the picture out and you can see him 'flying' around the field. He would have several of the other team's players joining him in the fun, all the while our team was able to score points. I say use what you got baby!!! Work it.

Feeling FANTASTIC!!!

I am feeling pretty fantastic right now. The other day my sister Heather and I were shopping for some Halloween stuff. Logan and Chase were with us and like normal Logan is dragging Heather off to show her something. Well while this is happening this lady comes up to me and says, 'would your mother like one of these rings?' I said, you mean my sister??? I was totally laughing by this point and she is just mortified. Oooh she says, I must not have had a good look at her, I am so sorry. I said what are you sorry for that is hilarious!!!! She said, please don't tell her...I said oh I have to tell her this is too funny. As she is pleading with me Heather walks up and finds out that this lady thinks she is my mother. Heather and I are literally peeing our pants and this lady wants to crawl under a rock. Heather thinks it is because she was loving my kids and 'mothering' them, no pun intended. heheheeee Whatever the reason I was feeling pretty good about myself. We laughed some more and then told the lady who was still apologizing that it was fine that we would never see her again anyway. Well the next stop, who do we see??? Yep this lady so we all had another laugh at my sisters expense. If you know my sister she is beautiful and just adorable in every way so there is no reason not to absolutely get a big chuckle out of this event. Just thought I would share.
If any of you see my sister make sure to tell her you heard she was my mother!!!

Soccer 2010

Logan is finally old enough to be on the city soccer team. He loves it, mostly I think he just loves the other kids. Logan does spend a fair amount of time running around the field with his arms stretched out like an airplane but I figure he is having fun. A few games ago the refs decided that it was "ok" to have 18, yes 18, 4 year olds running around together. Not such a good idea Logan got, as he put it, a huge "OOOS egg". It was a huge goose egg, the poor little guy. So to say the least he is not a fan of the pushing and shoving part of soccer so at times I find him just "doing his own thing" Love that kid, he is such a delight!!!

Fun with the Clark's

We have had a lot of fun with the Clark's this summer, however when I say 'a lot' what I really mean to say is we had fun with the Clark's but it is never enough. Logan loves to play with Emilyn and Jenna, ride bikes and jump on the trampoline. I figure Logan needs a sister and the Emilyn and Jenna need a brother so it works out perfectly! :)

In August Thanksgiving point does their 2Buck Tuesdays Logan and I can go to the dino museum for $4 rather than $18. So to say the least I make the effort to go during August. However Jodell and I chose the Tuesday before school started.....Ca....RAZY!! The line was literally around the building. All to save a few bucks, I think we are nuts. We stuck it out and once we were inside it wasn't too bad. The place is gigantic so it didn't matter too much. My favorite pic is of the kids running from the shark, you should have seen them. Can anyone say, "DRAMA". It was great fun.

Next Jodell had some of her horses brought down for the summer and Logan got to ride the horses, bareback even!!! It was a lot of fun, stinky but fun! I know what you are thinking.....you grew up in Cornish, all I can say is I have become a city (well if you can call Saratoga a city) girl.

On another random topic the other day we were at Home Depot and there was an amazing rainbow in the sky and Logan said look mom, 'Jesus painted a beautiful rainbow for us'. That boy melts my heart, not sure what I would do without his adorable personality. His new favorite song is I hope they call me on a mission, with which he proceeds to sing really loud in certain areas, he is such a primary boy these days!!! Love him!

FUN in Ferron Utah!!

We had so much fun this weekend in Ferron! For those of you who don't know where Ferron is it is south of Price. They celebrated Peach Days this weekend and there was fireworks, a parade and even a demolition derby!! I know right a demolition derby! :) Seriously not sure when the last time I went to one of those....what an adventure and such good people watching if you are a fan of the people watching and you know I am!!!! The kids had such a good time, even Chase was pretty good for his first camping trip! It was Rob's birthday and I was thinking I would just grab a cake from the grocery store in Ferron, uhm no go so you can see we had ding dongs instead. At least it is memorable, right? I was so glad to have the new trailer with a perfectly working heater. The first night was pretty chilly.

Cereal for Chase!

Chase didn't LOVE his cereal. It is so funny watching them take those first few bites of cereal. The funny faces and tongue gag, I really enjoy it.....He is getting to be such a big boy. 4 months old, where does time go???

First day at preschool!!!

Logan started preschool today.......finally!!! He has been talking about it forever, carrying his backpack around and asking when over and over. He was so darn cute today, it was fun to see how grown up he is. While some kids are crying for mommy not to leave Logan is like thanks mom, see you later! :) Proud mom watching him today.

Getting ready for camping....I guess?!?!?!

Why do kids love tents so much??? Logan must be gearing up for our campout this weekend. Lucky for me we will be in a camper not in a tent....I'm getting old and need a somewhat real bed. heheheeee

Ok, so speaking of camping has anyone seen those huge marshmellows? They are like the size of a softball, they are gigantic!!! I need to get some just for fun but I can't imagine that you could make it into a smore without it becoming one ginourmous mess!!! Let me know if you have tried them. :)

Smiley-guy!

Chase is such a happy guy!! He is in love with this stuffed tiger, he just talks to it and smiles. It is so dreamy!! Logan never liked stuffed animals much so it is fun to see different personalities.

We had a busy weekend working on the basement. My neice Kayley is living with us so we are trying to get her some of her "own" realestate downstairs. Logan got a board to the nose this weekend, poor guy. My dad didn't realize he was behind him and Wham! Good thing he had his hard hat on :) He thinks the tools are pretty cool, I think they are loud!

Logan starts preschool this week and is beyond excited, he keeps telling me, 'mom I am SSOOOOO excited' with that adorable squeel. He has been working on his "homework" everyday in preparation for school to start. His homework consists of nickjr.com, playhousedisney.com and starfall.com. He takes it very seriously....that kid cracks me up!

We have been getting ready for our camping trip this weekend, we are going to Millsite which is down by Ferrin. It is Peach Days and so it should be oodles of fun!!! We are going in the new camper and I am super excited!!! I hope Chase likes the camping scene or it might not be so nice. Logan of course loves it. Rob and I need to get away, it has been a hard and long year!

Where does the time go?!??!?!

Well it has been over a year since I last posted anything. It has been a difficult and a wonderful year all rolled into one. We had a death and a
birth in the family, bitter and sweet. In September we found out that Rob's dad had cancer, lymphoma. We started treatments at Huntsman things were going very well. If you knew Rob's dad you know what a fighter/amazing man he was. Somehow he got an infection and it went down hill from there. We moved him from hospital to hospital, nursing home to finally hospice at home. Clyde passed away December 15, 2009. It has been such a hard year, especially for my sweet husband. Rob and Clyde were best friends, they did everything together. We all sort of feel cheated! We are so grateful for the gospel and the knowledge that we will all be together again someday but right now we are struggling through the loss of an amazing (amazing doesn't even begin to cover it) man. July of last year we started the invitro process for the 4th time and happily we found out in August that we would be having a baby in May. We were so excited and thankful for all of the many prayers on our behalf. What a blessing these little ones are. On May 9, 2010 (mother's day) we were blessed with another little boy, Chase Clyde Wright. 6lb13 oz and 19.5' long. The best mother's day gift ever!!! :) 2 little boys we couldn't be more thrilled! Logan is so excited to have a little brother, though I think he thought Chase would come out running and ready to play trains, batman and more! We have had so much fun this summer, it is going to take me the next several months to try and catch up on everything.

Red Sox

On my last trip to Boston I was planning to get Logan a ball cap and shirt but of course I was running to the airport and wasn't able to grab anything. I had mentioned it to my boss that I was planning to get Logan something and low and behold a few days later this adorable had and shirt show up in the mail!! What a great boss I have!

My niece and nephew play baseball, Ryan plays on 2 teams, Abby plays and Ginn (heather's husband) coaches both Abby, Ryan and plays on his own team. So to say the least Logan will have plenty of places to show off his baseball shirt!! We will be spending quite a few days at the ballpark this summer.
