Lagoon Day!

So every year my dad gets tickets to Lagoon for being the big time Mayor of Cornish. The family always puts the tickets to good use. I have to say that it wasn't one of our better trips to Lagoon. Rob just started a new job and had a meeting he couldn't miss so he couldn't come until after work. Instead of driving he thought he would jump on the ever so 'convenient' Front Runner (train) that goes takes you to Davis County and supposedly Lagoon. 3 hours later and a trek across the freeway on a dirt road Rob finally arrived at 8:30 pm. Poor guy!!! Logan wasn't a big fan of the rides unless I could go on it with him so we went on the train and the tiki ride that is like the Tidal Wave. We had to put Logan's little backpack/leash on him or we would have lost him in 2 seconds flat. He seemed to really like the Lagoon games ( I wonder if we have a "carny lover" on our hands....hhmmmm ) He played a little Whack a Mole and baseball. He took the baseball and threw it into the crowd, lucky for all of us that he didn't hit someone. I must admit it was a little funny!! Stephen and Alex, Rob's nephew's, stayed late with us and watched Logan so Rob and I could go on some rides!! I do love that Spider ride. Unfortunately the line for Wicked was too long so no go this year. Although my dad went on it and I would have loved to see that!!!

let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

Logan went sledding with his cousins, we have had so much snow this year it is insane! Logan looks really cute in his snow 'duds'. Our neighbor Lance has been building up a huge mountain in his yard, it is quite the sledding hill. It launches you pretty good, Logan was like the energizer bunny on this thing.

Swim Day with Ellie

Ellie and Logan played in the pool, it was a bit chilly but they had a good time! They were really cute!! Even I joined in the fun and got wet, maybe not by choice. :)

Bear World

We went to Yellowstone over Memorial Day. It was a lot of fun! On our way up we stopped at Bear World just outside Rexburg. Bear World is really cool but the price has gone up so much that I am not sure we will go back. The little cubs are so darn adorable!! Logan sure had fun checking out all the animals.
